My book report on The Crow field Curse11/1/11

Pat Walsh calls the book I read the Crow field Curse. There are 321 pages in it, and it may seem like a big book, but it was worth it. The reason why I read it was because my mom read it and said it was really good.
William, the main character, is a 14-year-old orphan gone to live in an abbey, (a place were monks go to spend the rest of their lives.) Yet, he is not a monk, but a servant. Another important character is Brother Walter, a hob that William rescued from the deadly clutches of an iron trap in foxwist woods. The main thing they are trying to do is to help break the curse on both the Crow field abbey and Master Bone (a man who was cursed by the dark king who had given him leprosy, and then made him immortal.) The curse on the abbey is about the angel that had died there. Legend told that in the winter of 1263, there was a Fay that was cornered by minions of the dark king, an angel came down and protected it until it got away, The dark king came and shot the angel with an arrow. Years later, one of the monks came to the forest for firewood, but instead he found the angel lying on the ground, with an arrow stuck in its chest. Some of the other monks helped to burry it in Whistling Hollow (the most dreaded place in all the land!) If I were to give this book a rating, I would give a definite five stars. I would also recommend this book to anyone
